Olive oil
8pork sausage linkscountry
2large sweet onions
1/2cupbutter
Fresh thyme
4garlic clovesminced
1/4 - 1/3cupflour
2cupsbeef broth
3teaspoonsWorcestershire sauce
1tablespoonDijon mustard
Salt and pepper
Method
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear sausage on all sides and set aside.
To the same pan, add butter and olive oil. Once melted, add onions, mushrooms, and garlic. When onions soften, add flour, salt, and pepper, and stir.
Whisk in broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard.
Place sausage back in pan and tuck into gravy.
Simmer until gravy is thickened and pork sausage is 145°F.
