Simply Delicious Slow Cooker Turkey Breast
Ingredients
- 6-8 pound bone-in turkey breast
- 1 can cranberry sauce
- 1 large naval orange juice & zest
- 1 envelope turkey gravy mix
- 1 cup white wine
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon EACH smoked paprika garlic powder, poultry seasoning, salt & pepper
- 1 cup cranberries
- Fresh herbs optional
- 2-3 stalks celery
- 2-3 whole carrots
- 1 large red onion wedged
- 4 cloves garlic-peeled
- 1 stick butter-quartered
Notes
- If you prefer to leave the skin on, remove it from the slow-cooker & roast in oven at 350Âş for 15-20 minutes. Be careful not to overcook or it will become dry.
- Use any fresh herbs you’d like — I used oregano, basil & a bay leaf, because it’s what I had on hand. Any will work to add flavor to the turkey.
- Save the strained broth to make a yummy soup later!
